The Hmong New Year is traditionally celebrated in late November during Thanksgiving weekend in Minnesota. The celebration recognizes accomplishments during the past year and it's a time to welcome a new beginning. Every year there is a big Hmong New Year celebration at the Xcel Center in downtown St. Paul which is open to the public and draws in thousands of Hmong people from all over the state and country. During this event there are various colorful programs such as talent shows consisting of authentic and modern dancing, singing, poetry, and much more. There is ball tossing for the single folks and a large variety of Hmong food to taste like sticky rice, egg rolls, Hmong sausages, and desserts such as a sweet tapioca pearl drink.
This year some of our Hmong employees decided to share the celebration and their culture with everyone. On Wednesday, November 21, several employees set up a buffet of food in the lunch room for everyone to try throughout the day and many dressed in traditional Hmong costumes. It was a fun day of celebrating and experiencing a different culture! We hope to have more cultural celebrations like this in the future!
Creativity has no boundaries! We experienced this through our super creative associates from the Pune Learning Division.
We witnessed an over-whelming participation from everybody for both these contests held during August 2012. It was exciting to see the eggs, displaying different characters and emotions. After seeing the art on the Post-its, we now know that the power of a simple Post-it can never be underestimated. This was amply demonstrated by our enthusiastic Pune employees, whose creativity blew us away.

At the start of our new fiscal year, Indecomm One launched an internal campaign known as the Orange Revolution. The purpose of this campaign is to demonstrate how one G.R.E.A.T. team can transform an entire organization. The G.R.E.A.T. acronym stands for: Goals, Rewards & Recognition, Effective Communication, Accountability and Trust.
On April 13, 2011, our Document Management Group (DMG) in St. Paul, MN held a town hall assembly to introduce this Indecomm One campaign. Latha Parameswaran, VP of the DMG and Dana Vinzant, Senior Vice President of U.S. Mortgage Operations along with members of the U.S. Mortgage Operations HR team made several announcements putting the revolution in motion. Many of the Indecomm staff dressed in orange colored attire, from orange stockings to orange jumpsuits, joining in the inspiration behind the revolution. During the town hall, mouse pads were distributed to the staff with the Indecomm One logo and the message "I am part of a G.R.E.A.T. team" scripted on the pad. These mouse pads are a token for staff to keep as a reminder at their work station to stay motivated in this campaign.
A different twist for the campaign kick-off was used with the Lending Solutions Group (LSG) and the Investor Accounting Group (IAG) for the announcement of the Orange Revolution. Due to the large number of our U.S. Mortgage associates working remotely, a video WebEx session was used to deliver the message. This was the first video conference ever held for U.S. Mortgage Associates. Dana Vinzant, Susan Schold – VP of Lending Solutions and the G.R.E.A.T. HR team delivered the message. Given the composition of these two groups, their mouse pads were mailed directly to their respective home addresses.
As this campaign continues to evolve, be on the look out for more G.R.E.A.T. things to come!
This year Mardi Gras was on Tuesday March 8th. The Indecomm Global Services, St. Paul managers thought it would be a great day to celebrate with a potluck. Our employees worked together to prepare and bring in foods from other cultures. There were lots of tasty choices - from main dishes to tempting desserts. The food was available all day so employees could eat whenever they felt hungry. Everyone did a great job. The food was fantastic and we all had a good time.
In keeping with a true Mardi Gras celebration beads were passed out to all employees and worn proudly. It was a fun day! Thanks to everyone who worked hard to make the day such a success!

On Thursday, December 23rd, 2010, IGS St. Paul hosted our annual Company Holiday Party. This year, the party was held at "Jimmy's Restaurant," in Vadnais Heights. This was a time to break out of the workplace mode and bond as a team. The event as any Christmas party would be was all about food, fun, games and prizes. It was a enjoyable afternoon with the group playing movie Trivia and singing Christmas Carols. A great way to bring the holiday spirit alive. A memorable event, to end the year on a high note. Here's to another great year ahead, thanks to our incredible staff for making our success possible!
It gives us immense pleasure to inform you that our very own IL cricket team has emerged at the top in the recently concluded "Corporate Inter IT Cricket Challenge". We would like to applaud the entire team for this achievement.
IndecommLearning started participating in the Inter IT Cricket Tournaments about two years ago. Our first tournament was a learning experience as the team was new to the concept of Inter IT cricket. The team could not win enough matches to move into the knock-out stage and was hence out of the race in early stages.
The following year the team participated in the latest edition of the tournament and reached the finals. This was a huge achievement considering the team ended at the bottom of the table, the previous year. Though our team lost the finals to a superior opponent but they sent across the message that IndecommLearning is here to stay.
Coming to this year's event the team proved yet again that they are a force to reckon with and emerged as the "Champions".
After the scorching summer in Pune, all the folks here in Learning division were waiting to have a bash with a splash.
And so we came up with the idea of having a bash through Rains & Rainbows—an evening full of various water games, music and some hot & spicy snacks!!
The organizers came up with some real fun games. The audiences burst into laughter as they watched the players looking like children and enjoying themselves playing "Disha Dikhao" (carrying a mug full of water blindfolded from one place to another in minimum time being navigated by another team member)
This was followed by "Nau Banao" (Making maximum number of paper boats in 2 minutes), "Geela Pathar" (Holding a wet brick with 2 fingers for as long as one can!), "Paani Paani Re", (Filling water bottles using water gun and carrying it on their head without dropping to the finishing point), "Hum Jodi", (Throwing water filled balloons to team member who had to catch & collect them safely to win with a maximum balloons), "Pani Jani", (The team members had to stand in a chain to transfer water using small cups and fill the bottle on other end of the long chain).
The show stealer was the game "Pyare Gubaare" wherein the participants had to fill the balloons with water using water guns.
This was one messy, watery and hilarious evening that ended with sumptuous wada pavs, yummy gulab jamuns & definitely higher levels of adrenalin!!!
